“We needed to be perceived as a place where people can actually book travel, not only read about it. At the same time we are held to the highest publishing-house guidelines, and everything we publish has to be factual and correct. scaile saw the problem, understood us, and made us more efficient and more effective without changing the way we work.”

Assistants answering German travel questions recommended competing tour operators and booking portals. BILD Reisen was not among them, and there was no library of its own for an assistant to draw on.
The constraints made it harder. Every article had to be verifiably true and properly sourced, keep advertising and editorial apart, state EU air-passenger compensation tiers correctly, and never send a reader to a competing operator or booking portal.
Recommendations could only point at hotels the client was able to sell. A travel brand cannot ship content that invents a price, cites a dead source, or names a hotel the business does not offer.

Define your OfferingA pre-launch baseline was recorded on a tracked panel of German travel prompts, then rebuilt in July as 45 non-branded booking questions weighted by demand.
Find Customer IntentEvery article produced under a rule requiring three to five authoritative sources and blocked from naming a competing operator. From late June, hotel recommendations were gated against the client’s bookable catalogue.
Publish ContentWe diagnosed the live corpus and refreshed every article in it with a rewrite that could not drop or invent a price. It ran on every page at once with no holdout, so the refresh is reported as an operation and not as a result.
Refresh ContentMonthly reporting with independent verifiers re-deriving every published number. When a figure turned out to be a measurement artefact, we corrected the report and removed the comparison.
