Most companies have never written down what they actually offer. Who they offer it to. How they distinguish themselves from their competition. And certainly not optimized for AI search. In a strategy session we align all of the above.

How we derive your offering structure

We will conduct a strategy session in person or online

Status quo: we show you what you are currently found for

Based on your current online presence, we show you how you show up in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. We measure how well you are cited as a source and mentioned in the answer. In the answer we check the sentiment, the position you are mentioned at and which products are mentioned. Finally we show you how you compare with your competitors and what kind of content wins in your category.

We define your online offering

In the strategy session we will ask you to review your offerings, what are their features, who is it for, what makes it special. Based on our experience with 40+ enterprises and founders we help you define an offering taxonomy that allows you to structure your content in a way that wins AI search.

We define your online offering

What makes you unique

In the age of AI search you no longer show up for single keywords. AI answers in full sentences and often in lists together with your competitors. So we work out what actually sets you apart and write it down precisely enough that we can position you that way every time, so that AI knows it as well. That way you are not only mentioned, but mentioned exactly the way you want to be positioned.

What makes you unique

Who you want to show up for

Once we know what you show up for, we identify who you want to show up for. AI search engines have context about the person asking and tailor their answers to them, so they also look for solutions that fit that person. We define your ICP and your buying personas, so that your offering is described for the audience it is meant for.

Outcome

A clear structure for your content strategy

In the end you have a clear content cluster that defines who you are and what you offer, and a brand kit that describes what you offer, how you position yourself and who you are targeting. That is what everything after this step is built on.

How does the strategy session work?

We run it in person or online, in one session. We prepare everything upfront with your website, your data and your competitors, so that the time we spend together goes into decisions and not into collecting information.

Who should be in the session?

Marketing and/or content team, plus someone from sales or customer success who hears what your customers actually ask. If your offering is technical, bring someone from product as well.

We already have a positioning and personas. Do we still need this?

Bring them, they are a good starting point. Most of them were written for sales decks and not for AI search, so we check them against what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews actually say about you today and adjust where the two do not match.

What do you need from us before we start?

Your website is enough for us to show you the status quo. However the more information you share up front, the better we can prepare. We then go through your offerings, their features and who you sell to, together in the session.

What if we have many offerings or sell in several markets?

Then the offering taxonomy matters even more. We build it per offering and per persona, so that nothing overlaps and nothing is missing, and so that every market can be filled with content later.

What do we get at the end?

A content cluster that defines who you are and what you offer, and a brand kit that describes your offering, your positioning and who you are targeting. That is what the content plan in the next step is built on.
