Case Study: Beurer

Beurer has stood for quality, innovation and reliability for more than 100 years, and one goal today is to become even more visible in AI search

While Sistrix estimates that specialised health portals lost around 30% of their clicks, traffic to beurer.com is growing strongly, and visibility in AI search (ChatGPT and others) accounts for a growing share of the new traffic.

#1source AI answers use, up from ninth in May

Anyone in Germany who asks which TENS device or blood-pressure monitor to buy now increasingly gets an answer that draws on beurer.com. Valuable content has moved it further in that direction over the last five months. In August 2026 visits to Beurer from AI assistants were 6.8 times those of a year earlier, and Google clicks were up 14%.

Beurer is now the most-used source for the defined prompts

Buyers increasingly ask an AI assistant before they compare products themselves. In May 2026 the answers to Beurer’s core buying questions drew mostly on other websites, and beurer.com was the ninth source.

scaile and Beurer found the questions buyers ask in three ways: classic keyword analysis, social listening in forums and social media, and internal know-how. From them the magazine on the website was expanded with guide articles. AI drafts and checks each article, people check claims and evidence, and Beurer approves every text before it goes live.

By September beurer.com was the first source on the same 14 questions. Visits from AI assistants were 6.8 times those of a year earlier, and organic Google clicks grew 14%.

“To be found today, good SEO alone is no longer enough […]. scaile helped us identify customer questions, understand AI systems and build high-quality blog content with human checks in the right places.”

In May, AI answered Beurer’s buying questions from other websites

The question comes before the product. Someone choosing a blood-pressure monitor first wants to know whether to measure at the upper arm or the wrist, and a list of product features does not answer that.

In May 2026 AI engines answered 14 of Beurer’s core buying questions mainly from test portals, video and retailers. They used beurer.com in 17% of their answers, ninth among all websites.

Health is also a regulated category: every claim about a medical device has to hold, so publishing faster could not mean checking less.

1

Understand your customers

Product data, technical statements and writing rules went into one shared knowledge base. Where a statement was phrased differently in different places, Beurer decided which version holds and which evidence it rests on.

Find the questions customers ask

The topics come from three sources: keyword analysis of what people search on Google, social listening in forums and social media, and internal data. Beurer adds its own priorities. From 28 April the buying questions are tracked daily on five AI engines, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, which records where beurer.com stands.

Before any draft the team fixes the product, the reader and the topic cluster, then the outline. AI writes the draft, a second AI step checks it, and the draft shows its internal and external sources. People check claims and evidence, and Beurer approves.

The AI figures count answers to the same 14 buying questions in May and in September. Visits are Google Analytics 4, clicks are Google Search Console for beurer.com.

beurer.com went from the ninth to the first source AI answers use

In May 2026 AI engines used beurer.com in 17% of their answers to the 14 buying questions. In September they used it in 42%, more than any other website.

The questions stayed the same, so the rise does not come from measuring different ones.

Frequently asked questions

Need more detail? Book a Call

How do you become visible in AI search?

AI engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews build their answers from websites that answer the buyer’s question directly and back every claim with a source. Beurer publishes guide articles for exactly those questions and measures every week which websites the answers use.

How do you set up a content workflow for AI search?

In a loop: measure where you stand on the questions that matter, research what buyers ask, write and check each article, have it approved, publish, then measure again and decide which articles to revise and which questions come next. Beurer and scaile run that loop weekly.

How do you find the right topics?

From three sources: keyword analysis of Google searches, social listening in forums and social media, and internal sources. The overlap of the three shows which questions buyers ask before they choose a product.

What exactly was measured?

Various questions on different product topics, asked daily on five AI engines in Germany since 28 April 2026. A website counts as a source when the engine used it to build its answer. These are the questions tracked from the start, so the comparison is not mixed with questions added later.
